Pic on the left is me, my dad, and Lobo. Pic on the right is the house my dad built, and where I grew up, on a mountain in Western Montana.
This one is for the Lyrics challenge - use a song that makes you think of your country, and Super Mom Bingo - do quilling on the lo.
I did Boondocks, by Little Big Town, because it makes me think about the best parts of our country (small towns) and the best way to grow up in our country. The quilling is the butterfly's antennas.
I took parts of the song for the journaling, which reads:
I feel no shame, I'm proud of where I came from. I was born and raised in the boondocks. One thing I know, no matter where I go, I keep my heart and soul in the boondocks.
It's where I learned about living, it's where I learned about love. It's where I learned about working hard, and having a little was just enough.
It's where I learned about Jesus, and knowing where I stand. You can take it or leave it, THIS IS ME, THIS IS WHO I AM.
I keep my heart and soul in the boondocks.

TFL, and as always, the lo is not crooked, my picture taking is.
