My younger grandson turns 4 today! I made him this cake. Supposed to be Curious George with balloons. The main cake is caramel and the balloons are butter recipe.
First time I tried to use a star tri-tip nozzle. The brown icing was already too much on the wet side since I used so much coloring to get the dark brown. I even added more powdered sugar but it was till too thinned out and soon they were messing into one "star" so I switched to regular star tip.
I sure hope I get to use this monkey pan again. :LOL: I prefer the round or square formed cakes but wanted to take the easy route for this one.
