this is a fathers day card that i made in 09. the smaller inside star is actually on the inside of the card, and when you close the card, the two stars become one.
Rockstar is in an alphabet stamp that i heat embossed with gold.
i had a sheet of scrap chipboard that i handcut a star out of. i embossed the star in my desired pattern and when the star was completely decorated i flipped it upsidedown and traced a star on the underside. i cut the inner star out at an angle so that the two stars could "close" and make one again easily. this was my 3rd attempt at this, and flipping the star upside down was the easiest way! also cutting at an angle makes a pretty decorative trim around the inside star. c my next image to c the inside of the card.
