The Blue Hole is a bell shaped artesian well in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Its surface is approximately 60 ft. In diameter and its top-most cavern is nearly 80 ft. Deep, with connecting caverns going down to a depth of over 248 ft. Nearly 2,000 gallons of pure spring water flow from the Blue Hole per minute and its temperature remains a cool 61 degrees F year round.

The really awesome thing about this page is that the Blue Hole is one Route 66. I had these travel page papers in my supply of extra papers that I had purchased at one time or another and had no idea what to do with them. I tried to use them several times. Then when I put this layout together it worked perfectly. Better than I could have ever planned because there are stories in the background of the page. Incomplete stories just to be as background, not for the story content. Between the journaling for the Blue Hole and the picture I took at the bottom of the Blue Hole, the headline of that article is "Get Your Kicks on Route 66" How appropriate! I couldn't have plan that if I tried.

One of the other stories was about a cruise liner - one on Brazil I think. This really worked well!
