Your lettering is just amazing! I want to know how to do that!!! I really love your clean and "simple" scrapping style. It always catches my eye in the gallery.
I also loved using a variety of trimmed-down pieces of the patterned paper from this collection in the layouts of my Nana's Kids album. Using minimal pieces of from the Die Cuts With a View "Nana's Kids" versatile collection insured the layouts would be clean and simple. Because the pack is generous with paper (three sheets of each pattern) I'll be able to make at least 12 - 15 more layouts and some cards using small strips, bars and layers with solid cardstocks as the backgrounds.
The words "learning to eat" were hand lettered using my script handwriting and extra fill-in ink on the up and down sweeps of each letter.
This layout shows principles geometric shape usage which can be found in Easy Layouts Using Geometric Shapes from my latest New to Scrapbooking e-Book series, If interested in more information, see the book below.
