Another page for Aubreys 1st Year Book. I did a letter to her from me so I wanted to give her a little info about who her daddy is - to me.
JOURNALING::
I used to think that there could never be a luckier girl than me. I have the best daddy in the world, then I saw your's with you and I knew very quickly that you were going to be just as lucky as I. This man that you will call daddy is like no other. He is giving, he is handsome, he is kind, he is thoughtful. He always puts the needs of others in front of his and most importantly he loves you more than anything else in his entire world. He looks at you as if you were the one and only thing he ever prayed for in his life. From the day we found out that you were coming he has done everything in his power to make sure that I was as happy as possible. He believed if I was happy than you were happy. He gets up with you in the middle of the night no matter how long he has worked that day or how many hours he has slept and he never complains because after all his little girl needs him. He held your hand in the hospital when you were sick, he prayed for you and he cried for you. He goes to every doctors appointment that you have and he proudly shows off your new “tricks” to the doctors. Anytime he gets a chance to show your picture or tell an Aubrey story he does just that. He is so proud of you and always will be.
He will be overprotective and there will be times in your life that he will make you so mad! Aubrey, during these times I need you to remember one thing; he loves you and his only goal in life is your happiness. He is only trying to protect you and keep you safe. If anything ever happens in your life that causes you hurt you can trust that your daddy is hurting with you. He will push you to be your best and will never settle for you being less because he has seen with his very own eyes how truly amazing you are. He will teach you the value of family, faith and honesty and expect you to respect all three of these. He will make you laugh and sometimes embarrass you in public. He will always dance with you and make up funny songs about you. He will teach you how a woman should be treated just watch the way he treats me. He will demand that you demand to be treated the same if not better. His happiness is determined by yours.
