good for you to scrap that photo - and wonderful that you have it too. you did a great job... the simple colors, the beautiful tree..and the lace are just great.
Wow, excellent that you scrapped this pic. You set up such a lovely way to showcase it w/ these soft colors/patterns, that fantastic tree, the lace & the ticket. Way to go for preserving your great grandmother's memory!
Wow! I was so afraid to scrap this picture. It is *98* years old! But I gave in today and did it, and I love the outcome. The circles were cut with my Cricut and George and then inked and crimped, the tree was cut with my SCAL and then inked. The paper is K&Co Dollhouse, the carstock (all 3 colors) are Core'dinations.
Journaling says "My Great-Grandmother- Adelaide Charlotte Grosskoph. Born July 17, 1909 to Henry and Phoebe (Machael) Grosskoph in the Bronx, New York City. This picture was taken in 1911 by Aunt Frieda."
