Love the strips of paper...so brilliant and creative! Such a great pic of Helen Grace too! Fabulous job on the black accents as the frame and title. They really make the whole thing pop! She is such a doll!
Oh my word!!! talk about working those papers beautifully!! loving the happy cheerful look of this page!! lovely work my friend!!...and of course a fav, love it!
Beautiful LO and I love the pps, so pretty. And the title work is so cute and fits Helen Grace perfectly. The flowers and the bird are the perfect touch!! Great job- it's a fave
Soo pretty! Fabulous design- love all the woven strips! The black title and transparency really pops! The 3D paint is a nice touch! Love that little birdie and the adorable photo, too! Faves!
BEAUTIFUL! Love the pretty pps (might have to get some of those!). I like how you cut the transparency and slid the photo under it. The "woven" strips is really pretty - just love the pretty colors and the precious photo of Helen Grace - she's such a cutie - does she ever take a bad pic???? The black title lettering really pops against the pink/green, too! So, so pretty - love it!!!
You know, Susan, I like that your gallery has SO much variety...you don't use the same embellies, the same colors, the same designs over and over...it is refreshing to stop by and see something new and different every time! NICE LO~
She's such a cutie pie, and this layout is just precious! I love how you made the frame using strips of the paper and put the little dots on the lettering. I've got to remember to do that sometime because I really like the effect. Lovely layout yet again!
This is so precious! Every photo of her is just so adorable! I love what you did with this one! Wonderful use of the papers and what you did with the transparency is such a great idea! That flower is gorgeous!!
I love seeing LO's of this little beauty, and this one is just sensational, Susan!!! Lovely papers (must get some), wonderful details and embellies and I LOVE the splendid colours! Excellent work!!!
My DGD, Helen Grace. I used BG Lemonade collection. The flowers are all Prima, as well as the pearl bling. The bird is a chipboard embellie (lemonade). I used a transparency overlay behind the photo an cut the swirls so that the photo could slide under them. I used a fiskar scallop punch for the edges. I made a "box" frame using 1/4 inch strips of the pprs. The centers for the green blooms are pink bling. I added pink Robins Nest half beads to accent each corner. Added ink to most edges and a little faux stitching around the large mat. I also used some 3D pink paint to highlight the edges of the scallops. Journaling is tucked behind the photo and reads:
Helen Grace, you have such a sweet disposition (usually!). You are an affectionate little girl, and I am so glad. You’re generous with your hugs and kisses (when you want to be). You have the cutest dimples, soft curls in your hair, and you are definitely a girly-girl. But there’s one thing about you that we all love to see --- your adorable captivating smile.
