This is fabulous....what a special experience!!!!!!I like that you included a fan and coins...so authentic! You look so cute in your kimona and obi. I like the letters you used for 'Japan'. While studying Urusenke, I got to meet Grand Tea Master when he visited the US. My sensei has an authentic teahouse on her property! I have worn traditional dress while performing a tea ceremony. TFS~
What an amazing experience. Did you feel comfortable with the customs? i bet living there is great, but living with a traditional family is the ultimate!! You mix of papers is perfect. I would have never thought to mix Wanted with Hey Sugar. it turned out so amazing!
Sooo beautiful!! I love that you used items that are a special reminder of your trip. The colours and linear design really work well with the subject matter!! Lovely work my friend!
This is me on a year long exchange trip to Nara, Japan during my grade 10 year in high school (seems a little like forever ago now) ... it was an experience like no other that I will never forget!!!
***This is a real fan and yen (coins) from Japan
This scanned a little crooked... it's not really like that IRL!!!
