This is my DS (in the large photo) and 2 nephews. It was done for a few August challenges.
1.2 page sketch- based on a sketch
2.ABC challenge
T-torn paper- I tore the red and black papers on the sides and journaling block.
U-ugly paper- I had a real hard time using paper. It's the paper behind the photos on the left. I actually didn't mind it once it was cropped and inked. The feathers kinda remind me of fortune cookies. The funny thing is that I almost threw it away a long time ago.
V-variety of manufacturers- I used bazzil (the red CS) die cuts with a view (black CS), the journaling block is Basic Grey, and all the inking is tim holtz distress pads.I inked a wavy pattern onto light yellow CS. The frames I made myself to give it more of an asian flair. I sewed around the large photo of my son and all the noodles.
