Your description is so sad and I am sorry you have to carry that around with you. Your layout is beautiful and you were such a cute little girl. I hope you find some comfort in doing this layout, I know scrapping can be so much more than just decorating a page..you pour your heart and soul into and it can be a release, a stress reliever, a band aid, a joy...

Those flowers are simply stunning and all your detailed elements are a delight for the eyes! What a precious photo of 'little you'! Love it all, dear friend!
What a beautiful page and hopefully also a way of taking care of those emotions (I hope I said that correct, because English is not my native language!)
This darling photo evoked some strong and painful emotion. Isn't it marvelous that we can heal through art and exercise? Thank you for sharing this important part of your life through this incredibly beautiful page. The flowers, the scroll, everything is just gorgeous!

Wow, this is a gorgeous LO, those flowers and the way you cut out the part of the page that looks like a scroll unfolding.. Great work. That's sounds very rough what you had to go through, I'm sorry to hear that. Hope your walk helped!!

12x12 LO #76 of 100 in my no buy challenge. Me at the age of two, I was Daddy's Girl. "Daddy's Little Girl" was one of his favorite songs, so as a child it was one piece I practiced when he wasn't home and then played it for him one day. He was pleased. Another was "Harbor Lights". Hadn't seen much of my Dad in almost 15 years as my mother cut off phone calls etc and now he's passed away two years ago. Plus after all this I learned my mom was jealous of me and the time I spent with my dad. Not that she would have been under the car hood, or hunting, it was just time I had that she resented. Such a sad situation especially he sat those last years when I could have taken him fishing, but noper heaven forbid if we got any sand or fish stink in the boat, she would rather see him sit alone. Now that's what she does as we have all moved away. Ok time to go outside for a walk!
