Happy Birthday, Andrea! (Vizsla Mom here at SB.com)
Andrea is one of my scrapping buddies who has become a very dear friend. We not only share a love of scrapbooking, we both are dog lovers. She has two Vizslas, Nicki and Ruger.

I took these photos of Andrea and Nicki one afternoon when I was scrapping at Andrea's house. Her babies always want to be wherever she is, so we frequently had extra paws on deck! Nicki is 11 years old now and she is definitely a Grand Lady. I adore the photo of her burying her face against Andrea! Neither Nicki nor Andrea like to have their picture taken, so I was very pleased that they allowed me to do a mini photo shoot on this day.

I wrote out one of my all-time favorite quotes about dogs and I know that it's one of Andrea's favorites also. Roger Caras wrote: Dogs give us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made.

The edges of this page are distressed so that white shows through. Editing the photo to upload, I had to cut off the distressed part!
