DD Kelsie Anne, Halloween 2001. When my girls were younger, I sewed all of their Halloween costumes. This was one of the most elaborate ones I did. Every year, in the beginning of October, we would take a trip to the fabric store, and they would pick out the pattern and fabrics they wanted, and then I would spend the rest of the month sewing! Always worth it, though, they always had such great costumes, and then used them for playing dress-up after the holiday.
The black lace fabric on the lo is leftover from making her blouse and the overlay on her skirt (It's hard to tell, but it's a spiderweb pattern with). The red flower was made from leftover red satin from making her skirt, and the black trim along the lower edges is leftover from making the corset.

This was done for the Katie's Ribbon challenge - weave your ribbon or trim, either together, or through the lo. My ribbon is weaved through the black lace fabric.
TFL!
