SHCG: I think your storage should make you smile when you look at it. It keeps you interested. This is a great example of that. And if you don't like it later, it is easy enough to change. This is also a great way to visually see what you've got. I love it. Everyone could do this exactly the same way and everyone's would be different.
I disagree with Brenda & Janet actually. It looks to me like this is labeled as "Making Memories: Everyday," as opposed to "Christmas" or "Wedding." If that is the case, then it works perfectly. And really, if it is not at all confusing to you, then it doesn't matter. A black line between memories & everyday would be helpful for others, but these don't seem to be communal. :)
SHCG: Lots of good ideas at work here. I'm with Janet on aligning the label. I also think outlining the letters in white gel pen and/or doodling white dots around the border of the pink mat might make that piece pop.
SHCG - What a groovy idea! I love the pp medley on this, so upbeat & pretty. I confess, I can't help noticing how "memories" is right aligned; I would've liked to see the words aligned either all on the left or in the center. But overall, what a fun & lovely storage system!
My new paper storage! :-) I have my paper filed by manufacturer for the most part, and then misc colors, in a bankers box. I took some of my moving boxes and chose 1 sheet of paper from each stack and cut the box side down to 12x12. All the letters are cut with my Cricut and Alphalicious, and embellished in some way. I have little file tabs on top so I can flip through and grab what paper I want in a rush. I *love* how these came out!
