My first trip to the rodeo ever! Possibly my last trip to the rodeo since I'm not living in Idaho anymore.

Process:
Used leathery/worn looking paper for the background. Screwed up and cut the light-brown paper too small and then spent like a week trying to figure out how to make the page look less ridiculous. Decided to add fringe because fringe makes everything less ridiculous, or so I learned at the rodeo.

Spent entirely too long cutting 3 layers of fringe for the left hand side and 1 more layer at the bottom to match. Inked the fringe to give it a little bit of a worn look and then alternated square brads and red star eyelets down the side of the fringe to hold it onto the page.

If you squint at the stars (sheriff badges?) at the bottom of the page you'll be able to see that I stuck brads and eyelets in the center of some of them. Because I like shiny things.
