I made this for my StepDad for Christmas (he just bought a small boat but also just had knee surgery so he's kinda laid up. I thought the quote was perfect.) and put it in a shadowbox frame.

SUPPLIES:
Clearly Creative (Magic Scraps)
Stylishly Clear / Beach (Scrappingwithstyle.com)
Slide Mounts (Jest Charming)
Pigment Inks (Stazon)
Anchor die cut (Li'l Davis Designs)
Nautical buttons (Dress It Up)
Aged / Colored Tag (Scrappingwithstyle.com)
Fibers (Scrappingwithstyle.com)
Nautical netting (Darice)
Beach glass (Ebay)
Background paper (Autumn Leaves)
Torn corner paper (Deluxe Designs)
Beach Charms (Darice)
Pop Dots (Stampendous)

FUN STUFF:
Used a wood burner to melt around the edges of the clearly creative transparencies. Mounted the tag atop of the stones of beach glass. Made the sand slide mount into a shaker box with real sand and starfish shells in it.

JOURNALING:
I long for the solitude
of a sunset at sea
and the chill of the breeze
coming on with the eve.
For the motion of my boat
as she swings on her rode
and the beauty of the stars
in the evening's last glow.
- R. C. Gibbons
