The weekend before my son's 1st birthday, we went to Virginia for the annual Highlander's Festival and were Scots for a day. It was a beautiful Indian summer weekend and we had a great time.
When I saw the red plaid paper in the new BG June Bug line, I thought immediately of these pictures from the Scottish festival and wanted to scrap them. I originally planned to do this as a 2-pager but I just couldn't come up with a design that I liked. So, I scoured through my favorites gallery for inspiration and found a terrific one-pager with lots of photos by Queen_of_Paper. Her layout is "October" can be found here:
