This white card stock I painted, using colors I could pull from the photo's yellow as a good background color and blue as as second color and the reds and blacks are limited, but draw out the colors in the photo's. I cut chevrons on the right side of the paper, placed the blue behind it the yellow points to Ken's masterpiece, 18 stites to the inch the needle point measures 4' x 3.5' and is a photo of Monument Valley and is going in the Dale Robertson Museum in Cedar City, Utah sometime next year, it took Ken 6 months to complete and all colors were chosen color by color. This is a custom needlepoint and was made as thus. You can see some of his other work left phot below. His business partner, was holding the needlepoint in this artwork, his name Cliff Katz. Black felt letters are used. The journaling was done by computer ontop of gold painted cardstock, it painted beautifully, but there is a trick anyone caring to know write me, I'll explain it.
