This is one of my favorites of yours, Karen!! I love the way you've used the Chatterbox... the design is so cool, and love the "stitching!" Love those HS letters, too!
Another lo from my high school science trip. Sorry it's crooked, it looks better IRL. Notice the lettering, I painted over the Heidi Swapp letters that were tangerine, but left some of the tangerine color still showing through. It looks nifty :)
Thanks for looking--Karen
Journaling: Digging my feet into the sand, the peaceful sound of the waves, the cold water crashing onto my feet. . . these are all reasons why I love being at the beach. Going to the beach could not have been a better end to a long first day. After waiting hours at the airport and missing our chance to go to the Exploritorium, we headed out to the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve to study marine life in the tide pools. But as luck would have it, we ran into a good old California traffic jam. Cars were lined up for miles and we were in stop and go traffic, emphasis on the stop, for over 2 hours. It was starting to get dark and our trip leaders could see that we were all starting to get very discouraged. They saw a sign for “this way to the beach” and decided to take it. No regrets there ! ! ! We all had such a great time. The air was chilly and the water was cold, but we didn’t care. We were just excited to be out of the vans and actually doing something.
