Photo of me and Julie (retrojulie) when she came to visit me in May. This was our...sit by the pool...look up at Butch while he takes the pic...bye-bye double chins...look! LOL I couldn't decide WHAT to do with this layout...wanted simple, cute, and fun. This is how that worked out!! LOL! I gather numerous "friend" quotes printed them on white cardstock, and added the blue text boxes inside some of the sentences. I staggered them around the layout...added TONS of doodling - border, around each quote, on the title letters, around the names and date and around the arrow. I added a few large brads and added four yellow brads for a little sunshiny color. The arrow was hand drawn just so that I could have it coming from that one quote and point at Julie. (It happens to be the first quote listed below) If you're interested...here's the quotes:

Julie is an online friend that I met (in real life) in 2008. When we met for the first time, it was like we’d always known each other. Since then we’ve spent time together at a weekend crop, chatted via email and on the phone, and Julie came for a visit Memorial Day weekend (2009). We shopped, talked, ate out, talked, shopped, scrapped, AND had a little mini photo shoot. It was a busy and fun weekend.
