The journaling reads:
Much to Regan and Avery's delight, Anna from Bob's office asked us to watch her dog, Missy, for a few days. It really gave us all a taste of dog ownership. the girls walked here and fed her and "picked up" after her without complaining. Although Missy tended to be my shadow, she finally slept with the girls, how exciting! We have had her a few times since and each time brings us closer to getting a dog of our own.
