6" x 6" calendar for the "Let's get creative with color" swap. We had to include a surprise handmade or altered item with our colored bags. My bags were yellow and this is what I came up with..so much for a surprise :)
There's a page for each month included -- the pages are held together with the tiny brads and the user can just rip off the front page when the month has passed. The font has cute little hearts on the capital letters -- they kind of look like blobs in the picture, but they're cute in real life.
The calendar is mounted on pretty thick chipboard. I'm trying to decide if I should chalk the edges to make it look more finished or if I should trim the edges of the ribbon and leave it as it is so people can decide what to do with it. Suggestions?
