For Cassie's 12th birthday, we had her slumber party in a hotel suite so the girls could use the pool. They had a blast.
The title is from the Miley Cyrus song: G.N.O. (Girls Night Out.) The journaling is written in silver pen around the LO. "Where: Deerfield Marriott Suites When: April 15-16, 2009 Why: Cassie's 12th Birthday Slumber Party Who: [the girls' names] What: swimming, painting nails, watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua, eating, giggling, staying up late!"
This is for:
1. August Color Challenge - I Can Sing a Rainbow. We had to include the colors red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange, and blue in the LO.
Red: the mat on the bottom pic and a gem
Yellow: the chipboard chick, '1,' and a gem
Pink: pp, flowers, letters, etc.
Green: bg cs, large photo mat, stitching, '2'
Purple: the sequins and a gem
Orange: the cb chick, the '1,' and a gem
Blue: pp, adhesive fabric, and gems
2. Scrap the Girls - Week 1. The LO had to be at least 75% blue and pink. The twist was to include lime green stitching -- I did a machine zigzag stitch in lime green all the way around the piece of blue self-adhesive fabric.
3. VLB Challenge to use an arrow in a LO. I have the bling arrow pointing from the bday girl to the number 12.
