SO much fun! I just love all your work. I've tried coloring parts of pics before...but it never looked right to me. Here it's just amazing! Those little lifesavers are the perfect border and are just darn cute!
I wish I could do that photo editing. It's all gibrish to me. Such an adorable LO!! Those lifesaver must have taken some time. I hope you saved me some. The are my favorite. I'll buy and eat an entire bag when I'm scrapping.
This is fabulous Susan!!! First of all, I just love those pics..love that effect of the colour only on the sweeties and then I love the cute little sweetie borders (fabulous!) and then the colours and the papers and the journaling and I can just go on and on...love it!!
This is super cute! Love what you did to the photos by just coloring the gummies. Like your lifesaver borders too along with how you did the title - everything is super cute indeed!!!!!
Adorable photos!!! What a wonderful page and amazing photo editing! I absolutely love the gummie savers in your photos and everything about your creative layout!
AWESOME page!!! Love sooo much about this...the border punch, lifesaver border, altered pics and great colors! And the ink smudged letters are so cute, they look like they've been handled by those little gummy fingers! TFS!
Just fabulous!! The pink/green is such a great color combo! Awesome job editing those photos! Love all your little lifesavers! And the loop border is so cute!
The way you painted the letters is so pretty - it looks like rosebud pp or similar! Those coloured gummy lifesavers on the B&W photos is so effective too - great photos - just love the whole lo!
Oh goodness, Susan, I LOVE every bit of this sensational looking layout!!! The colours are splendid, the photos are precious (love this PS technique; used it when Will got his hair highlighted - LOL!) and the lifesavers look good enough to eat! LOVE the cool design! Excellent work, you talented and creative lady!!!
The pictures are darling, especially the way you did the coloring of the candy. Of course, now I'll have to have that new border punch! Love it. Aside from the pics, the highlight of the layout has to be those wonderful Lifesaver borders that you made. They look good enough to eat!
My DGC, Jacob, Helen Grace, and Allen, munching on gummy lifesavers. I used MME Confetti papers for this layout. The borders were punched with the MS loop punch with white doodling around the inside edges. I used Photoshop Elements to turn the photos to b/w, then made just the lifesavers back to color. The title letters are from Paper Studio and are white foam letters that I used Copic markers to color and smudge with a little pink/red/green. The lifesaver borders were made using a one inch circle punch and a 1/4 inch punch. Then I colored each lifesaver with Copic markers to give shading to them, and wrote "lifesaver" on each one. Several of the lifesavers are on pop dots for a 3-D effect. The journaling was printed on white cardstock and then smudged with the pink/red/green Copic markers. I added a little doodling - stitching on the pink strips, around the journaling block, and white doodled lines around the outside edges of the layout. I also added each child's name on their photo with a white signo pen. Journaling reads:
You three have always loved gummy lifesavers, but before you can eat them, you have to play with them. First, you put one gummy lifesaver on each finger, then wave your hands around in the air, then lick the lifesavers a couple of times, and finally….pop it in your mouth! All wet and GUMMY!!
