This is a 2-page layout from my Grand Canyon book. I visited the South Rim for two days and then went whitewater rafting on the Colorado River from Lee's Ferry to Diamond Creek. This was a major thing to cross off my bucket list and was a 13 day/12 night adventure that was the most relaxing vacation ever!
This layout includes pictures from view points along Desert View Drive and the East entrance to the South Rim includin the views from Moran, Grandview, Lipan and Navajo Points and visits to Tusayan Ruin and The Watchtower.
I hadn't used a lot of matting in the past and generally cut pictures in circles or shapes and at minimum used decorative scissors to create fancy edges but in this book, I wanted clean corners, square pictures and lots of coordinating matting so the pictures and journaling would be the focus of the pages and so I used a set of 6 page layout templates by Paperbilities to accomplish this and give all of the pages a similar look.
