I took two versions of this photo a natural one where you can see the key and this which I adj the colors a bit to look glossy.
I am usually a wash set an blow girl, but I always wanted thick and curly hair like Mariah Carey or Jurnee Smollet so in 2000 I went into my stylist and asked for something different. Straw curls or ringlets. It took hours to wrap all of my hair around drinking straws- Yes real drinking straws and about 2 hours to dry. I look at it as I am typing and I look like the young MJ LOL.
It looked really cute and my family members were proud of me for stepping out of my box. I really liked it too!
