The Prince's Bedroom in Versailles - this was one of my favorite rooms!

I wasn't watching what I was doing as I was inking the tag by K&Company, and it ended up getting too dark, so I had to try to "fix" it, so I put some brown ink on it, then I took a white opaque gel pen and did little scallop swooshes along the edges of it, them I Smooched the flourishes that were already on the tag. Then I outlined the flourishes more and added my own squiggles. When I finally put the title inside the tag I felt a little bit better, it seems a little overdone, but I really like how it came out. The ribbons I used on the tag came from Pinecone Press.
The journal blocks on the pages are vellum that I inked then drew my own squiggles on. I also made the swirled flourish embellishment on vellum paper.
The tag on the right page is also from K&Company that I inked and did a little altering to.
