What a great lo! My dad had his first bypass at 59 and another 10 years later - he was crazy for walking too, and used to walk miles with his dog. He died last month, and I miss him so much, but he used to laugh about his heart surgery, and tell us that as he had a pacemaker, his heart would carry on 'bumping' when everything else had stopped, even if he got run over! I totally agree - modern medicine is the tops! This is a great celebration page.

Ok - I am a cardiology nurse, so that makes me LOVE your layout so much!!! I think that everything about it is wonderful - I love your photos especially and your added touch of a real zipper and the stitches on the heart! I wholeheartedly agree with Karin, and the fact that they get together every morning for a walk is VERY inspirational!

This is fabulous, Jen! The details and photos are just wonderful! I love the message and you are so right...we never know what life has in store for us and our lives can change in a second! This LO should be used in a hopital as an inspiration to those facing similar surgery!
