GDCG: Cute layout. I loved Chuck e Cheese! Critique wise I think that the title would look great if it was in a little towards the center of the page. Otherwise it looks great.
GDCG: Ya know I really love all your los, so it is so hard to critique them. I notice that on a lot you like to space your photos and embellies out equally. On this one, you could probably move your title in closer to your picture, and give yourself a wider border. I still adore that ribbon flower, I'd love for you to teach me! You should get yahoo messenger so we can chat and scrapbook and sabotage each other when we're competing lol.
Such cute photos and bright colors!! Just a suggestion, but maybe an anchoring line running behind the two photos and journaling near the bottom of the page?
GDCG: I think I'd mat the smaller pictures, and put the title on a piece of pp or cardstock. A couple more ribbon flowers would be cute too. My niece had her birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. I think I had almost as much fun as she did! lol.
GDCG: One tip, if you round corners, round all of them. It help keep all the photos consistent and look like they belong together at a glance. Also, you could mount your title on a strip and edge the strip with some sort of pattern. Something else to add to this page would be tokens or tickets or something from the trip. I agree with rockmom, a few more of those cute flowers would be nice.
GDCG: I think I would just mat all the photos on a large mat, see if you can put them on there any old way, or I like rockmom's suggestions, they are good. How about some paint? I see you made the ribbon flower, it is cute!
GDCG: I would mat the two smaller pics. IF you have any tokens left (they still use tokens there dont' they?) or tickets, they would look cute on the lo. Perhaps a dimensional pizza sticker? I think your journaling says his fav. was when he got to be a trucker (did I read that right?) maybe you could put a truck on there.
GDCG: since that top photo is the focal, I think I'd double mat it to give it extra emphsis and then mat the journal and other two photos with single mats. I'd probably add some more of those cute flowers around the focal photo too. The stars across the bottom are super, love 'em! Y'all look so happy in those photos - they make me smile too!!
GDCG: I love the title on this one. I could see some inking or doodling around the edges. Also maybe matting the two smaller pics and the journaling square might make it pop. I also love the ribbon flower.
Your ribbon flower is adorable. The photos are so cute. Love the big smiles. The journaling is great. I love to see artists handwrite the journaling. It really personalizes the page.
I have battled with this LO for the past few days; I have no idea why but I just didnt like anything that was going on. Finally, I said who cares at least its scrapped! So take that LO!!
For these challenges: Round 8 ABC- HIJ --->Handmade: the ribbon flower --->Inch: the "smile" sqaure --->Jelly: my favorite is red, grape tastes like medicine, yuck!
