Such a wonderful tribute for Aleida, and it's a beautiful layout as well. I worked with Aleida at the scrapbook store, and she was a sweet, sweet person. I can't believe it's been a year since that dreadful day. Thanks so much for posting this to help us remember.

Wake Me Up When September Ends...

This week is a special week at Scrapping The Music. The featured song is "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day, as a tribute to our design team member and friend, Aleida Franklin who was tragically killed in a car accident in September of last year. Thanks to Julie Tucker-Wolek for thinking up the idea.

I used the August Studio Calico kit for this layout. Everything is from the kit. The title journaling is a lyric from the song.
