Gorgeous photo and LO. Enjoy her now but don't fear the future, they don't all 'move away' mentally, I still get tons of hugs and 'love you's' from my coming up 16 year old!
Oh, that moment will be sad, when I realize my girls are or have grown up just a little more. What wonderful journaling and of course, the design is just FAB!
Stunning! Makes hearing, "Mommy, can you: "help me..., get me..., show me..., make for me...." a lot less tiring, because all too soon they don't need us quite as much.
Beautiful layout! And I KNOW what you mean! My baby is 5 ... almost 6... I just scrapped photos from when she was three and wow... the chubbiness... the look... I can feel it all and relate so well to your touching and emotional journaling. Great work!
Awww... I will admit, I teared up after reading your beautiful journaling. I have a 2 1/2 year old and soon that will be me saying the same thing. They grow up too fast, don't they?
Awwww. This makes me misty, Lisa. It is gorgeous. I love your raw emotion journaling---I recall your reaction when I sent you this pic---at first, I didn't think you liked it - lol - but then I heard what you were saying about her being so grown up. I can def relate. Where did our babies go? Beautiful lo! LOVE it simple.
Something about this picture really gave me chills. It was taken just after Molly's 3rd birthday by her Auntie Becky (samsmom):)
The journaling reads: When I first saw this photo all I could think was “she’s gone, my baby is gone.” In her place is a young girl; all signs of baby chubbiness are gone. There is a knowledge, a seriousness in your face. My eyes teared up when I realized that this photo was a glimpse into the future. All too soon you would be “too old” to cuddle with your mom, that your “I love you too” would not come as frequently. My sadness was tempered with a hope for the person you will become, a smart, stong, confident young woman. I love you my girl.
