This layout is another one for my Mom's Shadow box. Every time I get a layout done of my sister that passed away I change my mom's shadowbox to the new layout, so that she can remember her daughter at different times in her life.
First of all I'd like to say this picture, of the Mountain Blue Bird, wasn't just a internet picture or a scrapbook paper, this picture was taken by my son Kyle, in our back yard. I asked him if he happens to see a picture of a Bird on a wire to take a picture, since he has mastered using my new camera quite well.. He skillfully took this picture leaving room for me to scrapbook my thoughts onto the page.
The words Bird On a Wire maybe commonly known to some, but it is a song that has special meaning to our family. It was also one of my sister Louise's favorite songs and was played at her grave side, before she was layed to rest. I wanted to write the entire song, on this layout, but it was just to long to fit. So those words "Like a Bird, On a Wire, She's Free" have such meaning.
My sistered lived with Marfans Syndrom and had lot of health problem assoicated with it and was the reason for her death at the age of 35. Thank you for taking the time to look and read my words. Next time you hear that song played by Aaron Neville, listen closely to the words. To this day, almost 18 years ago, I still cry when I hear this song.
I finally finished this layout which took me 3 weeks to do. I just couldn't do it, These layouts of my sister have been more emotionally difficult than I thought but I finished yesterday, what would of been my sisters birthday. Happy Birthday Louise.
