Amazing stories must have been flying at tht event! Great background story on the lo, Karin. Love the overlay and the papers....the hinges are such a great touch!
What a cute story, Karin! How nice that he won that trophy AND that he also supports your addiction - LOL!!! So, in in all, it works out beautifully - LOL!! My hubby (and sons) collect "Magic, The Gathering" cards and play weekly at tournaments. They have (literally) thousands and thousands of card and I can honestly say that about the quantity papers I own...so, can you imagine what this house looks like?? LOL! Fantastic layout; love it all!!
glad to see a little thing like "a job" hasn't got in the way too much with your creativity Karin. A wonderful layout and story, and a cool looking car, although I must admit I haven't heard of a Willys before.
Great page Karin, love the distressing and the hinges are a great addition, great story about the model car.I like how you have put the overlay under the photos, looks great!
Great job! My husband has a hunting hobby to balance my scrapping. I wanted to do some pages of his hunting trips and he wanted to do them himself! They came out great! Good thing these guys have something to keep them distracted off of how much $$$ we spend scrapping.
OMG!!! Your husband has my dream car!! I swear before I'm too old to enjoy it, I will have SOME 1930's model car with FLAMES!!! I'm totally impressed. My DH is a huge car fanatic, too. Hopefully soon I will get one.
What a fabulous page and a wonderful way to showcase your husbands "love in life" (besides you LOL) it was so interesting reading the story. Great papers and embellishments, always such refreshing and lively pages from you!!
My hubby totally supports my scrapping addiction so I did this LO for him. He is a huge car enthusiast. From the time he was a teenager he built and repaired engines and raced his "first" car in the Indy Nationals in 1963! It was a 1933 Willys. When we were married all he spoke of was his dream to one day own another Willys. Well, here he is this summer at a car show to support our local Veterans Hospital. He won a trophy for his car~ a 1934 Model 77 Willys! He did have a '33 Willys, but that's another LO and another story! TFL!
