This is spectacular.......I love the photo and of course I remember dickies.....You were so cute!!!! And that you remember the details of this dress is delightful....how did we do that I wonder. Hmmmmm I had a dress that my grandmother made me when I was four which I remember every detail....amazing!

Again....A B&W photo of my favorite homemade dress that year....It was a pale pink embossed polished cotton and mother made several "dickies" (anyone else remember those???) for me to wear to change the look of it.....or it could be worn without the dickie for a collar-less look. The dickie I am wearing in this photo was my favorite....and it was brown and pink plaid......thus, the brown and pink papers on the page.....
