This is my dd and me on Halloween in 2006. I haven't done the pumpkin carving pages yet, but this shows the finished product.

For the ABC Challenge Round 9 - KLM.
K - Know-how: LO must have something that shows your "know how". If you tend to make a lot of tags, that would be your "know how"; if you distress on all your pages, that would be your "know how"; if you almost always use Stickles, that's your "know how". My know-how is using vellum. I use it A LOT: for computer and handwritten journaling, for color copies, to mute colors, for die cuts, for borders, as photo mats, as another pp layer, embossed, to make embellies, etc. Here I used it to make the clouds around the moon -- I tore the vellum, then chalked it with shades of gray.
L - Leaves: I punched the oak and maple leaves from black cs, edged them with Gunmetal Stickles, and put them on the purple ribbon.
M - Masking: The spider webs are masked with Distress Ink.

September Technique Challenge: Masking.
I had only masked once before, and for that, I sprayed glimmer mist and didn't like how it turned out. This time I used ink, and I really had fun with it -- I might try again, but for now, this is my entry.

VLB - Tearing.
I tore the vellum to make the clouds.
