I am getting married in 10 days and made this in remembrance of my dad who passed away 3 yrs ago. That's my daughter next to him. It'll be for the reception, on its own table with candles and an ivory floral arrangement.
Its on a flat canvas and rests on an easel. The ribbon slide says "gratitude", the title reads "spirit", I used dark grey glitter on it. I went to our HL in hopes of finding a black Prima Say it In Bling, but nope, sold out. So I bought individual black rhinestones and made the flourish myself. The tag that I made reads:
Although death has separated us physically,
faith and love has bound us eternally.
Though we cannot see you, we know you are here.
Though we cannot touch you,
we feel the warmth of your smile,
as we begin a new chapter in our lives.
It took me a while to complete this, I was being so particular about everything. I wanted it to be perfect and I am very happy with the result.
