WOW, what a touching page! And the pride you have for this moment is evident. Great way to put this moment frozen in time. Thanks for playing with our challenge!

That is so touching! I admire your sister for her decision. I wanted to be a nun when I was younger but it was not meant to be :) They say...many are are called but few are chosen...she is truly one of the chosen one!
Great journaling of a very life changing moment! Love the pics to go with the journaling! You and your family have a right to be proud and Blessings to your sister!
I am so proud of your sister. What a strong decision she has made and such a young age. Beautiful layout. Can't wait to see the rest of the pics from the day.
My sister (24 years old) decided to become a nun. Labor Day weekend she knocked on the door and officially joined the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia. Proud doesn't even describe how I feel.
The layout is based on one from the blog Sketchy Thursdays.
The journaling reads: On September 5, 2009 Karen knocked on the door of the Saint Benedict Monastery in Bristow, VA. The Benedictine Sisters of Virginia opened the door and welcomed her and three other women who had made the decision to say, "Yes," to God's call. Karen's family - mom, dad, stepmom, 3 sisters, 2 brothers-in-law, niece, and nephew were there to watch her take this step into a new life. The faith and love of the family she grew up with and the family she joined was overwhelming.
