Cool journaling and I love the products you chose for this and the way you arranged everything! The star and skull are awesome and the bright colors are perfect with the brown background.
omg this is awsome its so hard for me to do boyish pages this is great i luv it and might have to steal it definately going into my favs!!! awsome job luv this!!
I don't know how I missed this one but it just ROCKS!!!!!!! The colors are so vibrant in just the right amount and those stars are seriously awesome!! Great photo's!! Love it all!!
Love the colors, Lori...very striking! I especially like how you used one larger photo of Will & 2 smlr pics. The red accents look nice...love the ribbon & brads. My dd also plays electric guitar and took lessons for 2 yrs. The skull is a nice edgy finishing touch.~ xx
This is great Lori. With only girls to scrap, I find it difficult to do masculine pages.
I think girls must be easier. A few flowers, a little bling, some ribbon and maybe a couple flourishes, and your done. Anyway, this rocks! Luv to you...Trudy
Lori, your boys are amazing and you always do justice to their pages. Your embellies on this page is just perfect and so appropriate and the colours are gorgeous not to mention the photos. Love all the detail around the skull (although it is a scary skull! LOL!) and as always your journaling is fabulous and so real! Love this my friend!
Great pics of Will, gosh he's changing as he grows up and love what you have done with this page, gorgeous papers & embellies and just love the red flourishes, great job my friend
WOW!!! This totally ROCKS!!!! Love the stars with the florishes!!! And, you know what Lori............... I think he looks like his Mom!! Awesome lo!!!!
I LOVE this Lori!!! The colors are so vibrant and so unexpected (not typical of the skull/ rock star theme - in my opinion anyway). Love how the red swirls just pop! So much energy!!! Way to go, Michael - Great job on the stars! Into my favorites!
WOW Lori, Love the photos of Will, and the paper and embellies are perfect ~ love how Michael made the stars and you did a super job on the skull... Your journaling is always fantastic...
WOW!! what an amazing collection of cool embellies! I love all the different colors and layers! The stars are awesome, as is the skull! Such great detail and perfect pps for this LO! You "ROCKED" this one!!!
Wow, Lori! What a lot of work you put into this layout--dynamic colours, shapes, and textures. I'm sure Will loves this one. Nice job! And Michael did a great job making the large stars too.
Just one more thing. You have made the best boy LO ever,I find it kind of hard to make the perfect Lo of a boy and if you don't mind I would love to use some of your Ideal on a lo of my own!!!!!
What a cool, awesome page! LOVE the skeleton, and how bright and colorful this is. Is just pops off the page! What an awesome story, and the journaling is just perfect!
Wow! Lori, this is amazing!!! I love that Michael helped you on this, what a neat thing it is to have our children such a part of our obsession...uh, I mean hobby. I love that loops border, it fits perfectly on your layout! Love it all~
This is Will, my rock star. You should see this child's rhythm! ...and he sings, too!
As some of you know, I've been MIA for a while because we were very busy making an apartment ready for occupancy by Michael who started his 2nd year of college.
Michael, my other DS, created the larger stars from scratch using PhotoShop. I found the skeleton image on the Internet, edited it and distressed it.
All the stars are raised with 3-D dots. I used Stickles on the tiny stars, the skeleton's eyes and the black dots.
flourishes - Cricut (Home Decor) Martha Stewart border punch (Loops) small stars - EK Success punch distress inks chalk Prismacolour coloured pencils Coluzzle template (skeleton)
Journaling reads: "We often dined at a restaurant named 'Abruzzi on Main' in Coopersburg, PA. There would be live music on certain nights. Hence, we met Craig Thatcher. He sang and played guitar. We truly enjoyed him. He was your inspiration for wanting to learn to play guitar. Craig told us that he gave lessons. Will, you studied with Craig for a year (2003-4). We moved to Queensbury in 2004. You took some lessons for about 6 mo with George Fletcher but decided to stop."
