Very nice page. I think it is difficult to design a layout with a large journaling block but you have done a beautiful job here. Very creative. Love your look ahead. I hope they all come true!
Ok so this is the SECOND time commenting on this lo...I don;t know what happened and why it wasn't posted.
I love the way you only used one paper for your background. The masking and stamping looks FAB!
I love your heart doodling and your colors.
Your journaling is so wonderful...so true and beautiful. I believe that you will surpass all of your hopes and dreams. You are such a beautiful person. You are like wine...you only get better with time :) Does that mean that you will be more timely?? Hmmm I hope so! LOL
This is for for two challenges, septembers "10 years from now".. no pics, use paint twist, 50+ words journaling.... second challenge is "what to do without paper".. can only use one sheet of paper in the whole LO, the background!
i painted some scrap cardboard in brown and blue and overlapped the strips to make a weave pattern. i masked the journaling rectangles with paper and stamped on top with brown and blue ink. i doodled the border of the journaling, and used a fine black pen to journal.
i distressed the background paper with my nails! and i painted with acrylics a plaid design on the background.. i doodled again on the border of the background paper and around the cardboard frame. flowers and chipboard and sticker title was scraps i thought id never use.
the "h" in title and button in center of beige flower is embossed in rainbow sparkle. :)
journaling reads,
"in ten years i will be 32! yikes! i hope to have my beautiful family near me and i hope to have attained my bachellors degree in psychology or childhood education. i hope to have added at least one more child to the mix, but preferrably two more after college is done. maybe we can adopt. i hope to have created even closer ties with my favorite people in teh world, as of now. i hope to have a similiar personality and loving nature. i hope to never be bitter. i hope i can enjoy life daily. everyday is a gift! i hope to be much more spiritual and much more saintly. God has put me here for a purpose. i hope to have my fate revealed by then. i hope to have learned new ways to express my creativity. Pottery, sewing, ballroom dancing, crochet, interior design and things as such are interesting. i hope to have learned a new language. i hope to have bought my own home. i hope to have a job that i love doing. i hope to have traveled to a majority of the rest of the United States and have visited at least 2 or 3 more countries entirely. Maybe Italy, China, Brazil, or even Eygpt. i hope to still enjoy everyday beauties and wonders of the world and that i appreciate all the good in my life. i hope that when others think of me they can call me their best friend. i hope to make my parents and family proud of me. i hope to be a positive role model for young people in this crazy world. will my hopes be accurate? i will pray so.
love me
ps. love yourself, enjoy the simple moments, and remember u only live once."
