WOW!! How did I miss this? This is sooo cool! That waterfall is awesome!! And what a totally out of the box way to display the photos than a kalidoscope! And it turned out awesome!!
Oh and here I thought I came up with an original idea and I see you and your mom have done it before (the waterfall, I mean), ...you did a beautiful job on it!...and the kaliedoscope idea is wonderful, I don't think I've even seen a design like this before, how creative a pretty this is!!
This was a fun layout technique I learned from a co-worker--a kalidoscope layout. The photo is of my husband, a Canadian mountie moose, and our friend Bruce at Niagara Falls, Ontario. I created the waterfall with paint and glitter glue. (I used a similar technique on a layout I posted two years ago on page four of my gallery - "Fountain of Youth." My mom ("Quick Silver") also used this type of technique when she created water coming out of her watering can in this layout: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/153809/view/2325247/-1/0/1.html. "Gabriellep" did a wonderful layout which included a detailed waterfall, which gave me the inspiration to try a more elaborate watersource: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/84905/view/2342647/-1/0/1.html)
