Oh this is so darn cute!!! I just love it! What a great way to remember all these little things...we forget so fast...I am always trying/wanting to remember!!
Oh this is sooooo cute! I have an 18 month old and her day goes about like this! I will have to do a layout like this- thanks for the wonderful inspiration.
Laura
Nicole! THis is stunning!! My favorite paper.. plus all the pics, soooo much great beautiful detail..
AND you changed your name, that confused me! :) BEAUTIFUL work.. I"m saving this one!
This completely ROCKS, Nicole!! I love it! Love how you were able to use so many photos, too! Love the paper choice and all the rub-ons. Awesome aweseome AWESOME!! :)
This layout was for the week 3 scraptathalon challnege "A day in the life" TFL!
This page was so fun to make from taking the pictures to writing the journaling!
Products Used: Basic Grey Lucky pps, AMM ric rac, MM rubons (thanks Pam!!), MM chipboard letter cut into a circle using colluzle, sizzix alpha rat-a-tat "life", deja-view rub ons, computer font: acoustic light, provo craft foam stamps "18" font circa, white paint sharpie, hand cut arrow.
Journaling (watch out it's long!): I don’t know exactly when you became a toddler, but it was probably about the same time that you learned how to tell me “no!” At 18 months old, you are lively and fun. Sometimes you get mad and throw a tantrum, but quickly recover and go on playing happily. It’s fun to watch all the big changes.
You are learning so many things right now. It seems like you learn at least one new word a day and you are eager to communicate your needs. Some days I can hardly keep up with you. I have to chase you often, because you love to run rather than walk, especially if you are running away from me or daddy! You also like to interact with me more and play silly games or hide in the closet among daddy’s shirts. It’s so fun to see your personality emerge even more. I’m trying my best to be a good mommy. There are a lot of new things you teach me all the time. I guess we are both learning!
RISE & SHINE-Each and every morning you greet me with a great big smile! Your cheerful attitude is something I have always admired about you. You’re usually up by 8 a.m. Sometimes a little later.
YUM-You are such a good eater. Ever since you turned one you have eaten all by your-self. So, you’ve already mastered utensils! You still eat in the highchair though, because you can be pretty messy. Your favorites are yogurt, beans, peanut butter, eggs, fruit smoothies, and any sweets.
PLAY-Playing is the thing that you do most in a day! Outside or in, you just love to run around and play. You love cars, trucks or anything that goes. You’re a pro at the shape-sorter which you call, “goo.” Balls, the key-board, books, and giant legos, are other favorites.
MISCHEIF-A day doesn’t go by where you don’t create just a little mischief! Some things you do are reset the dishwasher, unfold laundry, hide things, empty drawers and cupboards, spill things, squirt lotion everywhere, use the remote to change tv settings, and many more!
RUB-A-DUB-You love to take baths! When I ask you if you want to get out you always say, “no!” A typical bath lasts about an hour. You love playing with the bath toys and splashing around.
NIGHT-NIGHT-For naps or bedtime you have to have your “ya-ya” to fall asleep. You also have the bear with you.You are a good sleeper. You nap for two hours and sleep all night long.
