LOVE this! I paint my dd's hands and have them "paint" their prints for me. It is so awesome to see them again once they have grown. We like to measure against the old ones! Beautiful lo.
This is just precious. I tried to outline the hands of my grandkids. Not so easy. Anyway, the feet imprint look like they belong to the baby in the picture. I love the way you set everything up. I like the photo slipped under the heart frame. Very nice.
Awesome LO!!! I just love the heart around the feet and that title is great!! Glad you got non toxic ink. To be honest I don't know if I would have thought of that(:
This is wonderful! I love, love your tiny feet photo and how you used it with the Technique Tuesday stuff! It is a very touching and beautiful layout!!!!
Oh my!!!! ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the colors and the design! The title is precious!!!! I love the fun little frog prince's! Love the papers!!!! And that little strip of heart lace....cute!!!! Great job on the challenge!!!!
this is so cute! I have been toying with this same kind of idea, only my daughter is 2 now, and I feel silly that I waited so long! thanks for sharing.
What a great idea for a baby LO!! Fab design and elements! You should have taken a pic of you inking the feet....that would have been a great LO too!! LOL
Wow!! You can really tell all the work you put into this! Love your title and don't you LOVE technique tuesday stuff!?!! Love how the feet are so in focus! Lovely, sweet LO! Great job!! jen
I've had the general idea for this layout brewing around in my head for awhile. I bought the non-toxic ink right after my son was born with the idea of stamping his feet for a page. But for the longest time, I was scared to use the ink on his little baby feet. I finally got brave after 5 months, lol. It did make kind of a mess. DS had to take a long soak after the inking. So there's quite a delay here between the initial photo and the inked feet. But, what can I say? I'm a chicken Momma.
On the large scallop frame, I first inked the whole frame with a soft coral ink, then used a dark coral ink on a flourish stamp to make the design. The inner frame snaps out and I inked that lime green for a contrast with the reds, corals and pinks. The two hearts are also Technique Tuesday tiles that I inked. The little birdies are cut from patterned paper, backed with green cardstock, and covered with Glossy Accents. The green arrow is a die cut from October Afternoon (Nightlight line). I need to go back and press down the letters on the heart. I had them placed lightly to see if I liked their placement when I took this photo.
