Foamy, my friend. Is your son that tall, or are you that short? Regardless, it's a great photo of the two of you. And you've created a striking layout to showcase it. Tell me, does your son like, 'older women'? Have a happy, scrappy day...Trudy
It's the little things in life that brings so much pleasure Lynn and his smile is obviously a bonus for you too!! It is a lovely pic and I love the colours you used here! Love those beautiful flourishes at the bottom! As always..a beautiful lo!
Another gorgeous Foamy layout..I love the black letters and flourishes with the pretty colors. What a wonderful way to be reminded of your father. Love the photo of you too..you look really young in it!
Well, it usually IS the little things that bring us so much joy!!! It even brought a smile to MY face!!! Always love the black accents you use!!! Love it all, especially the pic!!
Wow what a nice story! It is nice to see the mannerisms and physical features that are passed down through the generations. this layout is perfectly balanced, you make fine detail work an art! Everything is perfectly balanced, yet, the picture still remains the star. amazing work...as always!
I absolutely love the dark swirls on the light background.. and the colors of your pp! That flower you made with the pp is awesome! and lovely story about your son and dad's similar smiles..
What a happy, whimsical page! I love your son's crooked smile and I can sure see the family resemblance. Love how you used the BG line. All your embellies are perfect, but that large flower is to die for! TFS
Oh, Lynn, what a cute and bittersweet description! That is a wonderful photo! You've used such lovely colours and fabulous embellies! Superbly done, as always!
I love your description and know just what you mean about the little things! And it is that little swirl in the corner of the photo that accentuates your son's crooked grin and adds such charm to your lovely page!
Description: The inspiration behind this layout is this pic of my son Nick & I at a family get together! The reason I love the photo so much is because of the crooked grin on Nick's face! My father, who passed away 20 years ago when Nick was only 8 years old, had that same crooked smile! Every now & then when Nick gets tickled about something... that grins pops up! When I seen this photo it brought a huge smile to MY face & happy memories of my Dad! It really is a little thing, yet brings me so much joy! I have layout details on my blog if you would like to take a look! thanks friends! http://prettypaperswirls.blogspot.com/ Hmm looks lettering looks crooked here... but not in real life!
