This was page was one of my first distressed, vintage pages where I handmade every element. The pocket was made from a white envelope which i antiqued and distressed with water and ink. I handmade the tag inside as well. For the description of Ellis island I used a punch along the edge to make it look like it came from a coil notebook. I crumpled the paper, chalked it then inked/distressed the edges, The flower I assembled from two pre-made flowers after inking them and adding a button with thread. Lots of work but well worth it!
