I wouldn't change a thing with this page. It looks great. It actually looks like she is sleeping under a woven blanket! cute stuff. Doing really good for a first timer...believe me, you should have seen my first pages...yikes! Thanks for sharing
Ok so the lo barely looks like I fixed it (I am not even going to post a new pic). All I did was cut the weave and pull the embellies away from the white bg it was on and reglued it to another white one that didnt have a crease. I just couldnt part with my original lo since everyone seemed to like it so much. Thanks for all the help and comments :)
Wonderful!! I love the weaving....so original. I wouldn't add or cut anything to the weaving...maybe just a little tag in the middle with the baby's info (maybe use the tag from her bassinet at the hospital)
OMG! This page is so cute! I love the weaving you did! I think adding some personal info would look really nice or some little flower accents some where on the "blanket". HTH! It is really pretty!
GREAT job weaving. OMG, that looks awesome. If you want a tag, go to the gallery and do a search there are lot's. I even just did tags for birthday invites they are in my gallery. But I think that is good idea with the babies name. Or I am a huge fan of journaling. That might be nice on vellum there to not take away from the weaving. Good luck, Post if you decide to change it.
I think your layout looks GREAT! The woven part looks like a baby blanket and you wouldn't put something on the blanket to take a picture of her to *add more* right?
When I have issues with a layout, I put it away for a few days and go back to it and see how I feel about changes then.
Sometimes *simple* is just not in our genes! LOL! Especially when we're women!!!
I have never made a tag before? So I wouldnt even know where to begin there. Its not really a "welcome" picture as it was taken a few days after we arrived home. But a tag with her name, date or age, and/or little saying might not be a bad idea. Question is will it look like it is just floating on the weave or look part of it.
This is so pretty! It OBVIOUSLY took a lot of time! I agree that it really doesn't need anything BUT if you must, maybe a decorative flower and tag with the baby's name and birthdate. Just a thought. Great job!
Honestly, I really like it the way it is. I think it's beautiful. If you absolutely need "something" on the bottom, maybe a tag or a contiuation of the flowers?
BTW it looks like it took a lot of time and effort, great work.
Personally I wouldn't trim anymore but I would add the babies info across the blanket,( the woven part) maybe a copy of the hospital tag or the birth announcement? Just a thought. You did a great job & your weaving looks really nice plus what a sweet bundle of joy you have.

Sorry about the pic quality, will take a better one in natural lighting tomorrow. Basically just need input at this time. I like it, but at the same time the bottom looks "empty"? No? I weaved the bottom portion with paper and it took a long time so obviously I want to show it, but maybe I did too much? Or maybe I am just too critical as always. Any ideas? I tend to scrap simple as you can see in my gallery (they look simple but take hours). So if you have ideas, think kind of on the simple side as I am new to this and have limited supplies! THANKS! Also the fact that I silhoutted (sp?) the pic may be bugging me. Did I do it right? Is it missing something behind it, or should I trim a little more?
