Journaling reads:
Home isn't just the house you live in, it’s also your block, your neighborhood, where you play, where you hang out. The basketball hoops across the street from our house have never had nets on them, as no one had any pride and would destroy them as soon as they were put up. It’s always bothered Greg that there weren’t any nets, so one day he walked across the street, net in one hand, ladder in the other, and put it up. We guessed it wouldn’t be long before someone destroyed it, but we have been pleasantly surprised that it’s been up for weeks and is still intact. So now we call it the net of hope. We hope that when the neighborhod children are playing basketball and see the net, they subconsciously see our house in the background too...the house where hope lives.
