For my friend and her Mom

In this photo is my friend/co-worker and her Mom. This photo was taken 7/7/07, in Las Vegas when my friend got married. She was soooooo happy that her Mom could be there for her marriage, as she had been quite ill and they didn't think she'd get to join in the celebration. She did and they had a wonderful time with each other...family and friends.

Unfortunately, her Mom is now gravely ill and is in Hospice care and won't be here much longer. My friend is having a very difficult time and is traveling back and forth to where her Mom lives to be with her as much as she can. She said she's so afraid of missing out on moments she still has left with her Mom and that what she'll miss the most is her Mom's beautiful, warm smile.

I wanted to try to give her something to alleviate her fears and to have as a daily treasure of that smile....they are so happy in this photo...and I believe the quote would reflect how they both feel about each other. Loss of a parent is so hard...I hope this will make her heart a little lighter.
