9-20-09...This is a Thread-waisted Wasp on a Grey Rabbitbrush plant. I had no idea what this insect was until I looked it up in my insect guide. Had I known that it was a WASP I would have been a little more careful in photographing this guy. This is a super macro shot. [P9200479]
