This is a photo of a woman I met while in the Amazon in Brazil. We stayed in her village on the third night of the trip in the Amazon and this photo was taken on Day 4 of our stay there.

Through Her Eyes:
THis woman has lived in the Amazon rainforest her entire life. She knows nothing beyond her own little world, except for the occasional silly tourist that comes through to stay in her village. THe plastic bag in her hair says one word to me: PERSPECTIVE. I will forever be grateful for my life and must only think of her to realize how different the world is to different people.
