Week 3 "A day in the life of....Potty training".
Foggy today!
I dont care what Dr.Phil says, you CAN NOT potty train a child in one day. It took us 3-1/2 weeks of tears, joys, pride, failures, and successes before she was completely potty trained. AMEN!

We picked a great time to start. The week before Thanksgiving, but holidays, stress...whatever we were ready.

Journaling reads
We tried potty training in Aug. 05, but you were not too happy about that. Mommy bought you brand new panties and nothing seemed to work. So we decided to wait until you were ready.

Right after you turned 3 you brought me a pair of your new panties and asked me if you could wear them. I said yes as long as you used the big girl potty. It took 3-1/2 weeks of complete patience from Mommy and Daddy, but you are finally completely potty trained and diaper free!
You did IT!

Every time you used the big girl potty you were rewarded with a sticker and a piece of candy. You loved the sticker chart I made for you and we always sang “Old McDonald had a farm” and pointed at the animal stickers when we would sing about that animal.

Thanks for looking and GOOD NEWS, she has had a dry diaper 3 nights in a row and 7 in the last 2 week. I do get up occasional at 3am to "Mommy, I got to go potty", but TP is way cheaper than diapers! Hooray!
